DU JAT

Hi Neetu, Delhi University conducts the Joint Admission Test DU JAT in the month of June. The exam is a gateway for admission to colleges that offer Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) and Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis) programs and B.A. (Hons) Business Economics. Candidates willing to appear for DU JAT 2018 need to fill the application form. The application process is online. Registered candidates need to download the admit cards candidates from the official website. The admit card will be made available online at least 10 days prior to the date of examination. The schedule of DU JAT 2018 has not been announced yet. The exam will be conducted for 2 hours, and candidates need to answer 120 multiple choice questions in the given time. Every correct answer will be allotted 3 marks. Once the merit list of students is prepared, a counselling session will be conducted for candidates applying to BBS / BMS / BFIA. I would recommend the following ways to get the initial hold of GK:
Newspaper is a must- Start reading newspapers daily. In the beginning, you might struggle in reading and assimilating the content, but with time, you'll become better. I won't suggest any specific newspaper but try to avoid TOI and HT.
Get a basic GK compendium- Buy a small size GK compendium (Arihant or any other publisher) to revisit basic static GK which one should be knowing about.
Online Quizzes- There are many websites ( Indiabix, etc.) which one can refer to for quizzes after having completed a specific category like International Institutions and Headquarters, Countries and Capitals etc.
I would suggest to have a look at previous year question papers- You'll be able to acknowledge a pattern. Therefore, you'll be in a position to analyze what kind of questions can be expected in the exam. This way, you can prepare much more strategically.
