Hello, the eligibility criteria to pursue LL.B. Is passed graduation in any discipline from a recognised university with 45%-50% aggregate, this vary as per norms of the universities such as DU, BHU need 50% aggregate in Bachelor's degree, there is relaxation of 5% for reserved categories, but since you belong to general it's tough to enroll in law programme of LL.B. With 44.4%. You have high possibility of admission. Good luck.

At present, LL.B. Distance education is not valid in India. The Bar Council of India (BCI) still does not recognize the LL.B. Degree through ODL mode. Therefore, candidates who pursue LL.B. Degrees in distance learning mode won't be endorsed as legitimate lawyers. Good luck.

It is compulsory to pass in 50 percent paper ( 5 out 10) for getting promoted to 2nd year. In other words in 2 semesters combined ( each semester consists of 5 papers) clearing 5 papers will sufficient. Which menas effectively you can miss an entire semester and you could still be promoted to 2nd year. ( Although my advice would be not to be so adventurous)
Like wise for promotion to 3rd year Clearing 15 papers out of 20 is compulsory. And in final year it is advisable to clear all the papers ( 10 papers) in one go otherwise most probably you'll have to wait for long to appear for supplementary which might cost you an entire year. Note
