Yes, they have specialized teachers and all the required facility. Also, events regarding such courses were organized time to time. And my experience with my course is satisfactory till now. However, I don't belong to the mentioned course. So, I can't suggest anything exactly. From my side, university is doing great in all the streams and they are providing practical exposures.

Yes, you can get the admission in Integrated M. Sc in bioinformatics as you have fulfilled the eligibility criteria of the college.

5 years dual degree programme combines the courses of B.Tech / BE and M.Tech / ME, whereas regular B.Tech is a 4 year course. If you wish to pursue M.Tech, after regular B.Tech, you need to spend another 2 years adding to a total of 6 years whereas you get the same qualification in just 5 years with the integrated courses. However, not all colleges provide integrated courses. So, with limited seats, the competition gets tougher.

I believe you are talking about IPM course in IIM-Indore. There is no fee concession for the IPM in the first three years of IPM course. In the last 2 years, the fee structure is same as PGP course. You can check the fee structure for the entire course here on this link:

Tezpur University conducts Tezpur University Entrance Examination (TUEE) for admission to various courses. The exam is generally conducted in the month of May, and classes begin in July. Admission based on online University Entrance Examination is granted to the following courses:
M.Tech applicants holding a valid GATE score do not need to appear for the entrance examination. Your son has got very good score. Your son stands a high chance in getting IIIT-Bangalore. Though, you should be aware that IIIT-Bangalore offer integrated M.Tech and not purely B.Tech which is B.Tech + M.Tech. You should also try for IIIT-Hyderabad which is top notch. Seeing the percentile, I hope your son should apply for the same also.
