DUET Pattern

Delhi University conducts an entrance exam for admission into its M.Sc. Computer Science programme. The entrance exam is held in online mode and comprises of 100 multiple choice questions. The questions are divided into four sections:
1. Mathematics (30 questions) - This section tests the knowledge of candidates in topics such as linear Algebra calculus, Probability and Statistics and discrete mathematics.
2. Computer Science (40 questions) - This section covers topics such as data structures, algorithms, programming languages, computer architecture, and operating systems.
3. Analytical ability and logical reasoning (10 questions) - This section tests the logical and analytical skills of candidates.
4. General awareness (20 questions) - This section covers Current Affairs social issues, and general knowledge topics. The duration of the exam is two hours and there is no negative marking for wrong answers. The merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained in the entrance exam and qualifying degree. Shortlisted candidates are called for a counseling session for final admission.

Hi,Eligibility:
The candidates appearing for the Entrance Test for admission to M.A. Economics in the Department of Economics, Panjab University, Chandigarh from the academic will be subject to the following eligibility conditions:
The candidate must have passed B.A. With Honours in Economics, or B.A. With Economics as an elective subject with 50% marks in aggregate;
Candidate having reappear or compartment at the time of first counseling is not eligible for admission in the course even though he/she clears the reappear or compartment by the time of subsequent round of counseling. Scheme of Test:
The duration of the Entrance Test will be one hour and thirty minutes and it will consist of 75 multi-choice questions of one mark each based on the syllabus provided for the test. There will be negative marking for wrong answers. 1/4 marks will be deducted for wrong answers. The Pattern of question paper of the Entrance Test would include questions pertaining to the various aspects of Economics as per the following scheme:
