The allotment of seats for all entrance based courses are done centrally and is displayed on the admission portal. In case of BEL. Ed courses, the seats available in each college under each admission category are allotted to candidates in order of their ranks and as per their preferences subject to availability. Candidates allotted seat higher their preference order will not be allowed to change any seat lower in their preference order within the same admission category.

The admission portal of DU displays the number of seats in each college after admission to the fifth round. The examination authority releases the schedule of spot allotment where candidates are called as per their ranks. The schedule also mentions the date, time and venue of DUET counselling 2023. In the first round of spot allotment under each category, candidates who have been offered admission but have opted for re-allocation is considered. Once the result of the DUET exams are out, successful candidates will be required to participate in the counselling process after registration. Result of DUET will be prepared based on the merit. Depending on the number of students who have made the merit list, the candidate should secure a rank in the first half of the list to be eligible to participate in the counselling process.

Candidates who will qualify the exam, will be required to participate for the counselling process for DUET exam. Notably, candidates will have to complete the counselling process on the same day and time. Completion of the counselling process will lead to the seat being provided to another candidate. Therefore, candidates are required to follow all the necessary steps to take admission in the university after the result.

Yes. Candidates who are interested to take admission in University of Delhi, will be will required to create a new login ID and password to register themselves for the DU counselling session. This is the first step to participate in the counselling process. Candidates who will qualify the exam will be required to mandatory register at the official website of the university. Once the counselling schedule is out, candidates will be able to get the counselling link to register for the exam at the official website.

Candidates who will appear for the DUET exam are suggested to take proper precautions while registration for counselling process. After the registration process is complete, candidates will be given a schedule, according to which candidates will be required to attend the college for the counselling process. In case a candidate has missed their date and time, the officials will give the seat to the candidate next in rank. Therefor, it is suggested that candidates should attend the counselling process as per the assigned allotted schedule.

No. Candidate will not be allowed to change colleges once the counselling session has been completed. Once the counselling schedule is announced, candidates will be required to register for the counselling process. Candidates are required to enter all the details asked details in the counselling process. Candidates are suggested to take proper precaution while filling the counselling form for the counselling process.

Yes, the counselling process is quite similar. But from the previous academic session the National Testing Agency NTA introduced CUET for admission to UG courses and from this year admission to PG courses of Delhi University is done through CUET. Counselling process for Ph.D. courses will be done after DUET. Meanwhile, counselling process for UG and PG courses will be done after the result of CUET. In a similar way, qualified students will have to report to the college to complete the counselling session. However, for the 2023-24 academic year, students will have to complete the counselling session online.

Admission to University of Delhi is done on the basis of DUET or Delhi University Entrance Test. Successful candidates get admission to Ph.D. courses on the basis of DUET marks. According to the ranks secured by the candidates, the university will release a schedule. It will have the names of students who will be next required to upload their documents and pay the fees to complete the admission formalities.

Candidates who will appear for the exam, will be required to first register for the counselling process. The counselling round will be conducted in online and offline mode.
