In Dyal Singh College, the CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) is calculated by adding the grade points obtained in each course and dividing the sum by the total number of credit hours of all the courses. The formula for calculating CGPA is as follows:
CGPA = Sum of (Grade Point x Credit Hours) / Total Credit Hours
Here, the Grade Point is obtained on a scale of 10, and the credit hours assigned to each course depend on the number of hours of instruction per week. The final CGPA is then reported on a scale of 10.
