No, Dyal Singh Evening College admission to all the courses, i.e., undergraduate programmes, is entrance-based. This DU-affiliated college accepts CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses, such as . Dyal Singh Evening College along with DU started accepting CUET UG starting. Before this, admission to undergraduate was based on merit in Class 12.

Admission to all the Dyal Singh Evening College courses is entrance-based. Dyal Singh Evening College accepts CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses, such as BA, BSc and BCom. The institute along with DU started accepting CUET UG starting 2022 academic year. Before this, admission to UG was based on merit in Class 12. The applications for Dyal Singh Evening College that run simultaneously with DU registrations for undergraduate courses via CUET 2023 (for UG programmes) began on Feb 10, 2023, and were open till Mar 30. Interested students were able to apply online on the official website of CUET UG.The CUET UG exam was scheduled to take place between held from May 21 to Jun 8, 2023, and the results were announced in June. Delhi University (affiliated university for Dyal Singh Evening College has also released the dates for the first, second and third DU CSAS Seat Allocation Lists which is Aug 1, Aug 10 and Aug 22, 2023,  respectively.

No, there is no offline method of application at Dyal Singh Evening College. All the candidates must apply through the centralised entrance exam's official website, i.e., the official websites of CUET UG. After the COVID years and after the introduction of CUET UG for UG admission to Dyal Singh Evening College and other DU-affiliated colleges, the application process has shifted full-time to the online mode. The subjects for semester 1 are colonialism in india, concurrent qualifying language, understanding political theory, constitutional democracy and government of India. The subjects for semester 2 are national in India, political process in india, political theory, concurrent credit language.
