No, a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (DECE) from IGNOU is not recognized by the NCTE as a qualification for pursuing a B.Ed. program. The NCTE requires specific teacher education programs for B.Ed. eligibility, and DECE does not fall under this category.

Candidates who have completed ECCE are not eligible for CTET. To appear for CTET, Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from an accredited university or institution to be eligible for the CTET.Additionally, they must possess a 4-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree or a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.).
