No, math is not compulsory for B.A. If you don't have mathematics so won't worry you can easily apply for this university.
Good luck!

Yes, you can go for Economics honours as a course despite having studied science in school. In Economics honors, there is not much background or base required as is the case in science. In school they teach micro and macro economics and statistics and Indian economy, which is covered during graduation as well.

Hi, Yes, for Economics(H) from DU you should have Maths till 12th class but it is not necessary to include it in 'Best Four Subjects' (BFS). You should have Maths either as an optional subject (5th subject) or as an additional subject (6th subject). Economics definitely should be included in BFS else you will face a deduction of some percentage from your BFS. All the best.

You can't do B.A economics from DU because you don't have maths in your class 12th. Including maths in your best four is not important but passing in that subject is important. However, you can do B.A in economics from Loyola College without maths, but it doesn't provide a honors degree.

Hi,
Maths is a very essential subject for Economics. If you have failed once, you must certainly clear it. You must also communicate with universities and check their entry criteria, complete any pre-requisite courses if required.
