An IELTS score of 6.5 is a decent score, but I am not very sure of what you mean by an aggregate score of 7.0. However, whatever be the case, IELTS as the name suggests is an examination for International English Language Testing System. It is conducted purely to test your language skills in the four modules I. e. listening, reading, writing and speaking. No university, not just in Canada, but in the entire world will provide you scholarship based only on your IELTS score. The scholarships provided by the universities to any student are

Hello Join, Canada is one country that is still welcoming immigrants. But the inflow is restricted to the fields in which government feels shortage exists. Besides this colleges definitely like to admit students for PG. But I would advise you to approach an agency dealing with sending students to Canada for PG since there are plenty of nuances in the process.

Hi Gobind, if you want to study in Canada then GRE is not even required so there is no need to stress on it. If the university you are planning to apply to requires GRE then your question's answer will be found on that particular university website but generally GRE is not a requirement except for technical programs in Canada.

Hi Palak,
You may opt for a M.Sc in economics course if you are interested in pure economics. Several options are open if you have an economics degree. Since finance is a growing market and Canada is a finance hub you may also check Master of Financial Economics and related programs. MS in finance or MS in accounts could be another option, specialisations like business or managerial economics can be taken up. If you have work experience, you may enroll into an MBA program.
