For JNU you have to cover wider area economics such as International Economics, Macro, Micro, Maths, Stats, Public Finance etc. Sometime they also ask logic and comprehension on Economic case. Maths is majorly +2 based so revise your RD Sharma book and be ready to practice from past year paper. For International economics-Paul Krugman is a good choice (chp 3-11) and read thrice before you practice the sets. Probability is basic level and Macro micro is theoretical mostly. Do all the past year papers as they revise some of the previous questions. Buy a question bank for JNU entrances and complete it within time so that you can revise it

You can choose economics as a generic elective subject in your course. And completing it you will also get a Certificate in economics also.

Hi, in comparison to BBE, a B.A. with honors in economics is a superior alternative for passing the civil services exam. Compared to BBE, it provides more in-depth coverage of the subject, which will improve your score. All the best.

Divide the UGC NET syllabus http://bit.ly/2YrRg8V on weekly basis so that you may complete it in time, but before that prioritize which topics you need to cover first. Solve a lot of previous year test papers to get to know about the difficulty level of exam. Appear for mock test papers as well.

Hello,
Check the syllabus well. Mark the easy and important topics. Always follow the basic strategy- understand the topic, make short notes, close your eye & try to recall the topic, read it again (if concept includes calculation or derivation, rather that recalling practice it). Now solve the relevant questions on it. Analyze your performance and work on the weak sections. Never take UGC NET Paper 1 for granted. It is a practical subject which requires a lot of practice and it is capable enough to fetch you good marks.

Hello,
Below we are sharing the preparation strategy for NTA NET Economics. Analyze the syllabus and exam pattern closely. Make a list of important topics, first cover easy and important topics. Check out the level of exam through previous year question papers. Appear for full length UGC NET Mock Test. If you find any topic difficult enough to understand even from the books, must refer your PG Notes then. Paper 1 is important so focus on that as well. Be clear with the revision strategy, revision should be on regular basis, it does not to complete the entire syllabus to start the revision. Hope it helps, Thanks a lot.
