For JNU you have to cover wider area economics such as International Economics, Macro, Micro, Maths, Stats, Public Finance etc. Sometime they also ask logic and comprehension on Economic case. Maths is majorly +2 based so revise your RD Sharma book and be ready to practice from past year paper. For International economics-Paul Krugman is a good choice (chp 3-11) and read thrice before you practice the sets. Probability is basic level and Macro micro is theoretical mostly. Do all the past year papers as they revise some of the previous questions. Buy a question bank for JNU entrances and complete it within time so that you can revise it

Yes, it is possible for you to pursue an M.A. In English . Even if your undergraduate degree is in a different field such as economics. However, the specific requirements for admission to an M.A. Programme in English . May vary depending on the institution you are applying to.
