In India, the French Embassy, together with the French enterprises, awards scholarships of up to INR 10 crore every year to more than 500 excellent young Indian graduates to study in France.Indian applicants in France with exceptional academic records have several financing choices for their courses.Charpak Scholarship Program —Benefits:Covers EUR 700 per month as living expensesA waiver of tuition fees up to EUR 5,000Help to find affordable accommodation for students (priority access to CROUS residences, subject to availability)Release of student visas and studies in FranceEligibility:The applicant must be an Indian and reside in IndiaA student currently enrolled at an Indian institution of higher education or a young professional employed at an enterprise for a term of not more than three years at the time of application and must not be more than 30 years oldThe course must take place in France. If a student has one semester or more of study in another country, he/she will not be provided with the scholarship during that periodAn exception will be the Charpak scholarship holders currently completing their M1 in France.
