Just to clarify, no book or teacher can make you a director. See, a film director makes films and films are a medium for story telling. So, you need to have a story, you need to find your own voice and this, fortunately, or unfortunately, will be your never-ending-personal-struggle. Dear Vignesh, There are courses starting from 6 months to 3 years. It purely depends on your interest and practice to master it. You can go with any reputed VFX training centre and go through the courses. Basically Adobe After effects you can start with and you can continue learning and practising with software like NUKE, cenima 4d based on the requirement you wish to pursue your career. You can go for animation degree for this which is available in many institutes in India and these institutes hold entrance exam for this. You will have to search out which entrance and college you want to go for. Good luck.

After class 10th, you can't do any graduate /degree programme in Editing. However, there are short term courses for which you may apply. I will suggest you better finish your higher secondary first and then go for any of these.
