After BMLT you can go for Masters in microbiology/ clinical microbiology/ industrial microbiology/ MLT/ MBA in hospital and healthcare management. To be an educationist or an academician, you need to take up degrees like B.Sc/B.Com/B.A hons preferably from which ever stream you wish. Once you have done that you can go for Master's in the same subject. If you wish to join universities, you need to take NET and for this p.hd is also better. For schools, you will pursue B Ed or B.El.ed for elementary school teaching.
There could be other roles also possible in education these days.

Over the last couple of years, group discussion is being replaced by written ability test. Until last year, IIM - Calcutta and Lucknow conducted GD rounds as a part of their selection process, but from 2015 onwards, both the institutes have exempted the GD rounds and now only conduct What-PI as a part of their selection process.
