Over the last couple of years, group discussion is being replaced by written ability test. Until last year, IIM - Calcutta and Lucknow conducted GD rounds as a part of their selection process, but from 2015 onwards, both the institutes have exempted the GD rounds and now only conduct What-PI as a part of their selection process.

Indian students are used to the concept of campus placements and on-campus recruitment for getting jobs. However, there is no concept of placements at Canadian universities or any other foreign university for that matter. Most Canadian universities have a cell called a Career Services Center, which helps you get jobs and helps you prepare for interviews. But that is all, most of the times.
