See, the best placement is of BITS-Goa and after that comes NIT-Calicut. But the average package of both has a lot more difference. BITS-Goa has an average pack of 3.25 LPA, whereas, NIT-Calicut offers 2.75 LPA only.

See from the jobs point of view, the best is EEE instead of ECE as there are quality placements in the ECE but in EEE there are quantity placements but this also depends on the college.

See, in electrical engineering, you will study about the wiring and wire harnessing only but in the electrical and electronic engineering, you will also about the electronics products manufacturing and also other things the EEE is more advanced than EE.

Hello Radha Krishna, Yes, you can definitely clear GATE 2019, even though you are in the final year of EEE. There are plenty of students who are in the final year of engineering and appear for GATE. Now the syllabus for GATE is invariably the syllabus that is covered in the branch of engineering which you are studying. Hence there is not much different which is required to be studied. Of course the exam pattern is different and hence it is advisable if you can take some mock test for GATE before the actual exam.
