Hello Arveti,
This is a classic Shakespearean dilemma. Rourkela as well as Warangal, both have a long history of academic excellence. Practically there is nothing much to differentiate between the two. Hence my advice would be to select the one with better convenience.

You should opt for electronics and communication branch, because this branch teaches you the mini and micro thing used in the VLSI system. Large components are integrated on very large scale that is VLSI which is done By EC engineers.

Yes, you can easily get admission in NIT Rourkela. The placements here are good. The companies come and accept the students with good packages. PSUs recruit with the highest packages. Renowned companies like Schneider electric recruit the students for the internship as well as pre-placement offer. The branch has an average package of about 5-6 lacs. The infrastructure is the second the largest campus area in India, and infrastructure is the beauty of this college. Congratulation for such an amazing rank. Yes, you can surely get admission in any of the branch in NIT, Rourkela, as you got a good rank. All the facilities are very good in NIT, Rourkela. Starting from infrastructure to hostel facility all the facilities are very good. The placements here are good. The companies come and accept the students with good packages. Average package: 8.98 lakhs per annum and the highest package: 68.5 lakhs per annum.
Out of 1220 people registered for placements, 823 have been placed.
Additionally, 24 pre-placement offers were accepted bringing the total percentage of people placed to 69.4%.
53 people had two offers, while 5 people had 3 offers made to them
248 companies participated in the on-campus placement process and a total of 905 offers were made.
