1. EEE is like a mother branch and ECE is sort of derived from it. Both have a number of similar subjects. Their dissimilarity lies in that ECE has major focus on semiconductor, transistor, op-amp, microprocessor etc. EEE also touches these domains but maybe not as deeply. ECE also has communication subjects like DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSING, Analog signal processing, satellite communication etc. , whereas EEE has subject on motors, Transformers, Grid lines etc. (I don't know much about EE
