Hello Priya,
In India, it's not possible to jump branch. For doing PG in Aeronautical engineering, you need to have done graduation in that branch.

Fundamentally, universities abroad are Keen to accept students with more than superior academic records. So the least that you can do is get very good score in all semesters of your engineering.

Yes, chances are there. You may have to retake the IELTS, please check the score requirements on university websites and email them. A very strong SOP and excellent letters of recommendation from your professors, research work, publications etc. must be demonstrated.

Hello Spandana,
If you are thinking of lateral admission then answer is no. Lateral admissions are allowed only in related subject.However, if you treat diploma as equivalent to 12th, then you can join IIT also in first year of any subject.

EEE involves electronics and electrical study while ECE involves the study of electronics and some part of communications.
In core companies, the demand of EEE is more in comparison to ECE. Whereas, ECE students can apply for IT companies as well.
EEE students don't have much scope in IES while ECE students have. ECE can get govt. jobs with high probability than EEE.
