The Bannari Amman Institute of Technology is an autonomous engineering college located in Sathyamangalam, Erode district, Tamil Nadu, India. It is under the roof of Bannari Amman Group (BAG) which is one of the largest Industrial Conglomerates in South India.
This is an autonomous college so it has quite good placement.

Mechanical is a better branch than electrical in terms of opportunities and placements. If you don't have any special interest in any of these go with mechanical.

Hi Nelson,
This college rank is 6.5 as an overall rating for its quality of education and ROI. Placement 2017- Only IT companies come for placement. In my year the following companies came, with the number of students selected in brackets - CTS(183), Infosys(82), Accenture(233), Tech Mahindra (9), Zoho(2), Verizon( around 7 i think). Infosys - 3.25 lakh per annum, CTS- 3.5 lac, Accenture - 2.75 lac ,Verizon and zoho - 4.5 lacs.
Take a wise decision.
All the best.

Hi Nelson,
Vel Tech University ranks 7.2 overall for its quality of education and remarks on placements. You can surely go for this college as it has all the opportunities combined with facilities for you. Many companies used to come every year, this year- Campus interview has just begun, Wipro has come almost 50-60 students from each dept took part. As the campus interview is conducted between 3 colleges, very few get placed. Companies like Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys used to come every year regularly.
All the best.

This is the age of Electronics. Electronics is impacting all aspects of human life. Next generation of automation is driven by Electronics. I am the opinion that opportunities and career growth scope of Electronics grads will higher in comparison to pure Electrical Engineering grads.
