Every branch has its own interesting topics some what easier for you and some are tough for you. So, never leave your passion just because of a hard topic. Everything is hard if you do not prepare well but if you prepare well then you can do anything you want.

EEE is better than ECE for government jobs. There are less jobs in ECE though.

Hi,
Each branch has its own importance. Like if you take ECE as your option, you can either get into software side or you can either get into core jobs. If you take EEE as your option, you have more chances for government jobs. So all you need is to decide yourself that are you interested in software side or will try getting a government job.

Yash, the core branches are ECE, CSE, EE, Mech., Civil etc but with passage of time the impact of technology has increased due to which many new branches have come up like Biotech, Food tech., Nanotech, Agri., Mechanatronics etc.
Many reputed private universities are offering these courses so you can check the details of these universities like Amity, Lovely, Sharda etc.
The eligibility criteria and admission process varies from institution to institution.
Good luck.

MIT-Pune is better for EEE than IEM because few of the past students do not recommend their college. Also, population in MIT is less. All you can say it is better than IEM-Kolkata. Rest if you still have a problem you can opt for college comparison.
