The minimum percentile required for admission in EE or Civil for General in home state quota varies depending on the state and the institute you are applying to. For example, an ST student needs to have AJEE Main score of at least 150-170 marks out of 300 and percentile against this is expected to be 99 or above to secure a rank that can get them into top NITs in Civil Engineering in other state quota. To be eligible for admission to Jorhat Engineering College, you need to meet the following eligibility criteria:

Yes, it is possible to study the B.Tech in Computer Science after Diploma in EEE. The eligibility for lateral entry to the B.Tech course is a 3 year Diploma course with 60% marks.
