Electronics and communication (ECE) is more software oriented while EEE is a core subject dealing with machines. ECE has more job scope in private sector while EEE has more scope in government sector. So, to put it simply, if you are interested in coding, the ECE is better for you. Both the courses are equally good and have good job opportunities. Both are core branches of engineering. Lots of opportunities being created in this sector. Both of these have a great scope, provided you have interest, aptitude, frame of mind, temperament, passion, personality traits that align with your aspirations in any of these.
