Ask to your friend regarding his interest between Metallurgy and EEE, What he exactly like to do. IIT is brand name and its faculty members and Infrastructure are world class level and accepted globally. IIT-Bhubaneswar have NIRF ranking 17 among the top engineering institutes. IIT-Bhubaneswar have good placement record and last year 88.89% of MME students get placed in various companies. BITS Hyderabad have NIRF ranking 25 and NAAC A grade accreditation. This college is also have good placement record and the average CTC is above 10LPA. So its purely depends upon on your friend, he can switch over to any college as per his interest.

Hello now a days B.Tech EE has so many scopes. Both two are good college as my point of view, But it's better to admission at shuats Allahabad, because they provide campus selection for their student's and job offer from outside India are also coming. Thank you.

KNIT-Sultanpur is very famous for Electrical engineering regarding the education and research oriented programs. So, if you are interested in Electrical engineering, then you must opt for KNIT.

What does failure means friend. What my experience say is this. You never know what our passion is until class 12. When you are undergoing our graduation that time we feel this wasn't the right choice. So having a backlog is not failure, but you aren't interested in electrical kind of subject. If coding is passion and you are dedicated to be an engineer then Opt for a branch change or a different college. Second point is that if you feel engineering is not what you want to do. The detailed information about AMIE is given below. The eligibility criteria for AMIE is 10+2 with PCM with minimum 45% of aggregate marks or 3 years engineering Diploma course. Working Experience For AMIE : Working experience is needed while registering for AMIE (Section B). In AMIE (Section A), no experience is needed.
