Depends on where you are working, in MNCs the starting salary for freshers varies from 2.4lpa to 3.6lpa. And in government sectors, it starts from 3.6lpa.

You can do MTech in Aeronautical Engineering after Electrical Engineering at Defense Institute of Advance Technology Pune. You can also do MTech at IIT Bombay In Aerospace Engineering Dynamics & Control . If you are open to join Indian Air Force in Aeronautical Engineering ( Electronics) branch, IAF will train you to be an Aeronautical Engineer.

Dear Paras,
Job opportunities are plenty. If you are planning to study in NZ, you will be eligible for post study work visa only if your course is more than a year. Work permit duration will vary depending on your study duration. You must have requisite skills, excellent communication and English speaking skills, academic grades to find a job. Competition is immense for international students.

After completing electrical engineering you have two fields:
1) Core field
2) Software field
For short term courses in the core field, below is the list:
-Power systems
-Latest applications of Solar panels
-Embedded systems
-VLSI
-You can also opt for mechanical branches such as robotics and humanoids and other mechanical applications.
For short term courses in the software field, you can learn programming languages.
Before joining a course you must think:
* What type of job interests you?
* Which field you wish to build your career in?
* Which one is better on the basis of your career goal?
