Dr Abdul Kalam Technical University is the university for all technical colleges in Uttar Pradesh. This was formed in the year 2000 and Uttar Pradesh government decided that all the technical courses or colleges will be affiliated to this university. Knowing this I really do not know why you are thinking that your future will get spoilt if you do your B.Tech from this university. Let me assure you that nothing of the sort will happen and you can go on to become the best brain of the country after graduating from this famous university of Uttar Pradesh. Do not worry. What you should worry about is understanding the subject which you are learning at the moment or which will be learning when you take admission in any of the colleges which are affiliated to this university. Knowledge gained will be the only thing that will help you in your career. Best wishes to you.

The best course is subjective. It depends on ones capability and competency (say, math skills), interests, career path in mind, available opportunities, school and/or location. Note that the financial aspect matters while pursuing higher education, and a lot more for overseas schools. &get;A good job perspective: look at circuits, architecture and design path. E. g. , embedded, SoC etc.
- Love code and tools? Wannabe Architect or Manager? Systems or Software engineering or any relavent course.
- Good at communication, debate and pitching ideas? A good MBA programme can help (say, product engineering/sales manager)
- Mega mix: take a good look at Biomedical or Physics prospects (e. g. , Nano)
- Crave for Math? Signal Processing, Cryptography, AI etc. -Teaching career? Plenty of opportunities at schools. Not enough data in this Q to write an apt answer, yet I hope this helps to an extent.

Hello Abhishek, Both the branches are quite good as far as placements are concerned. Electrical engineering perhaps can be called the original branch and electrical and electronic engineering can be called as sub branch. As time progresses many changes take place in all the fields of life. So also is the case with industry. Hear too things change. As a result electrical branch gave birth to electrical and electronic engineering branch. My personal advice to you would be to choose what you like & what you feel fascinated with. Because ultimately it's your fascination or it's your liking that will get you the top of the world if you work in this area. Best wishes to you.
