Dr Abdul Kalam Technical University is the university for all technical colleges in Uttar Pradesh. This was formed in the year 2000 and Uttar Pradesh government decided that all the technical courses or colleges will be affiliated to this university. Knowing this I really do not know why you are thinking that your future will get spoilt if you do your B.Tech from this university. The best course is subjective. It depends on ones capability and competency (say, math skills), interests, career path in mind, available opportunities, school and/or location. Note that the financial aspect matters while pursuing higher education, and a lot more for overseas schools. &get;A good job perspective: look at circuits, architecture and design path. E. g. , embedded, SoC etc.
- Love code and tools? Wannabe Architect or Manager? Systems or Software engineering or any relavent course.
- Good at communication, debate and pitching ideas? A good MBA programme can help (say, product engineering/sales manager)

After BE in Electrical, you should go for M.Des in Automobile design, as per your stream. Otherwise, you may have many options. For fashion, go for M.F Tech, then you can go for Fashion Comm. , Apparel Design, Furniture Design, Ceramics, etc. Good Luck.

Yes, you are eligible for aeronautical engineering after your Diploma in electrical engineering. You may take admission for lateral entry directly in the second year. Some of the universities offer such courses on lateral entry basis.

Hello Abhishek, Both the branches are quite good as far as placements are concerned. Electrical engineering perhaps can be called the original branch and electrical and electronic engineering can be called as sub branch. As time progresses many changes take place in all the fields of life. So also is the case with industry. Hear too things change. As a result electrical branch gave birth to electrical and electronic engineering branch. My personal advice to you would be to choose what you like & what you feel fascinated with.
