Oh no! I don't think so. Electrical engineering is one of the original branches of engineering and it still has its uses in day to day life even today. Even though many branches have come out of this stream and have taken a new role for themselves but electrical engineering is still holding its own against this onslaught. I, therefore, feel that electrical engineering will continue to remain important in future also.
