You can try for engineering in Canada. Top Canadian universities offer great prospects for engineering graduates and also a world class education. However, most of the universities do not understand Diploma and require a grade equivalent to class 12th. You can get your scores evaluated from some standardized evaluation company and look out for the application requirements at the university websites.

Actually, aerospace is a very good option but it is taught rarely in India. Mechanical and electrical engineering also offer good salaries.
I hope it will help.

It depends on the other alternatives available. You cannot go just for the tag NIT. Branch allocated and relative comparison between the options available as per your Jee Mains score is very important. All the best!

If possible, go for M.Tech. It will make you stand apart from the crowd. The career will be more rewarding than B.Tech.

Even though electrical engineering is very popular in India due to great job opportunities, growth, etc. doesn't matter a new college or old.
If your college is reputed within your state, then a few locally situated core companies will come to hire students. If your college is not among the reputed ones in India or within your state, then the only companies that will come are software. Having said that, you can always try off-campus placements for these companies by applying on your own.
