VIT conducts multiple rounds of counselling. Based on data of previous years if you score about 60% then you are expected to get Admission. The more you score better will be your chances of admission.

You can do from anywhere but it will be good if you do from your own state university. Now, you can directly get admission in 2nd year after doing ITI. For that, you will have to appear in entrance exam conducted bye each state university.

Ph.D from a private institute is not so good. Pursuing Ph.D from a government recognised institute is a far better option.

It is typical to confirm package offered to an electrical engineer in Jadavpur University but below are the packages offered by different firms:

All the exams that you have mentioned are best in their own way. In private college, VITEEE exam is one of the toughest and challenging exam. To get admission in a government college in West Bengal, Jharkhand or Karnataka, you need to appear for WBJEE, JCECE and COMEDK.

Firstly clear all your back logs. It will be typical for you to study in USA. You will have to work hard for it then prepare for IELTS or GRE to get a good score.
