It is a good choice. If you will pursue B.Tech in electrical engineering, then your field will change. You can easily crack any exam related to electrical engineering, but if you want to pursue aeronautical engineering, then you must go for it.

Diploma in electrical engineering is a good choice. After completing this course, you will have more opportunities in government sector, public sector and private sector. It is a core branch of engineering. Moreover, after completing Diploma in engineering, you can also pursue B.Tech through direct admission in 2nd year of engineering.

It is good to do Diploma in electrical engineering after doing ITI as your base is already clear and you have already gained practical knowledge in ITI. Now, you can learn more in Diploma engineering.
