ECE has more scope in comparison to EEE because ECE graduates can be employed in Electronics, Telecommunications, IT and ITES industries. Whereas EEE graduates have option in Electtonics & Electrical industry only. Also majority jobs are only Operation & Maintenance related only.

Princeton, MIT, CalTech, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Brown , Cornell,Carnegie Mellon, University of Toronto, British Columbia, University of Waterloo are some of the famous colleges for undergraduate studies in US and Canada. Check the college sites for SAT requirements, TOEFL or IELTS scores they require and other academic criteria.

ECE is core branch of engineering. This is the age of electronics and telecommunication. ECE engineers can participate in the change the world with changing technology. ECE graduates are employed by Electronics, Telecom and IT companies. Where as CSE graduates are mostly employed in IT companies. Therefor, if given a choice I will prefer ECE over computer.
