Chhanda, you can get admission in a govt.college if you have given JEE exam or WBJEE exam and scored well in it.
If you have not given it, then route towards private universities which offer you admission on JEE scores/ tests conducted by them/ your marks in 12th. Some of these also offer good scholarships based on any one of the above mentioned admission criteria.

TOEFL 91 marks is fine however the number of backlogs is a lot for any or at least many universities in Canada. Are you wanting to do a PhD after your Masters? If not, then look into the job-oriented SPP PG Diploma programs offered by SPP colleges and university colleges which sometimes incorporate a paid internship. Hope this helps. Thanks!

Among the two, IIEST SHIBPUR has now emerged as a better option for pursuing B.E/B.Tech. This is because of it attaining a national identification as IIEST. If you are doing B.Tech/BE then your thinking if job oriented. In that case SHIBPUR has a higher edge as number of recruiters are more and they include good companies offering internship.
