In my opinion, Chandigarh University is the best university for placements for Electrical engineering. Electrical Engineering as a career and field of study has a high scope. It is a field that drives every other one since its application in electricity is the power behind all forms of industry either small or well established one. There are many advantages of electrical engineering at Chandigarh University:
1. Switchgear & Protection Lab
2. Innovation Lab for sustainability Lab
3. Microprocessor Lab
4. Simulation Lab
5. Digital Signal Processing Lab
6. Linear Control Systems Lab
7. Electrical Measurements and Measuring Instruments (EMMI) Lab
...more

Placement depends upon your knowledge, skill, experienced and behaviour. Electrical engineering is a core branch for which you can opt definitely.Your salary will depend on the work and experiences. If you want to earn more then you can go for coding from other side. If you get job in core company then your salary will be 8 lakhs per annum to 12 lakhs per annum. In non core company you will get 4 lakhs to 6 lakhs per annum.

Hello Admit Kushwaha, perhaps you submitted the query prematurely. It's just a statement and no query and perhaps due to this, no one has answered it till now. I suggest that you raise a fresh query giving information about different aspects of your educational qualifications and stating what is your aim is. Then raise a query about any doubts in your mind. Best wishes to you.

Hello Anushka Bhatkar, it's pretty late that I am seeing your query. Just for the record, I passed from government Engineering College, Amravati by taking Electrical Engineering branch and so obviously I have a bias. By now you must have taken admission somewhere already. So there is no point in giving my opinion. Just for the record, can you please let me know by way of comment as to where have you taken admission? Thanks. Best wishes to you.

Hello Sneha Khalkho, it seems that this private polytechnic does not prescribe any cutoffs. This may be due to many different reasons. The most likely cause could be due to less number of students applying than the availability of seats. But this could also be due to a reduction in the total number of students applying rather than commentary on the capabilities of this institution.
Best wishes to you.

M.Tech is the best option, for B.Tech students even you can go through any kind of Diploma course as well.

Comparisons between both are not possible due to their vast scope. I would seriously not suggest going with your passion but instead, go for the thing which you want in your job. If it is money then go for simpler but high-paying jobs like management and CS or if you really want things to be exciting & are ready to compromise with the pay and social life then go for the more complex electrical, civil or mechanical engineering.
