Yes, you can take admission in B.Tech Electrical through lateral entry mode. You have not write about the college where you wish to pursue the B.Tech lateral course. However Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET) is offering the B.Tech lateral admission. The eligibility criteria is given below. The age criteria is very important here. If your age is between 16.5 years - 19.5 years or your DOB is falling between July 02, 2001, to July 01, 2004, than can be eligible for NDA-1. While for NDA-2 your age should be between 16.5 years - 19.5 years or your DOB is falling between January 02, 2002, to January 01 2005
So from above if you are meeting the above age eligibility criteria than can be eligible for NDA. Further no benefits will be provided against the B.Tech you have completed.

Finding a suitable job after completing the Electrical course should be on top priority. All most all the NITs have placement cells and helps their students in placements. So please avail this facility and try to get some initial experience for much better options. Government competitive exams like UPSC, AFCAT IES Railways, Defence etc. Are the best exams for getting a job opportunity in government. Sectors.
