Hello Samuel,
Eligibility criteria for getting admission in an AME course us 12th with PCM. Now diploma in engineering has been declared as equivalent to 12th by many states. This makes you eligible for AME.
Best wishes to you.

You have already done your Bachelor's. There's no point in doing it again. That too, in relatively the same programme with different specialisations. Try to get into a Masters program atleast.

Both the branches are very good and evergreen. But try to choose the field in which you love to work and you have very much interest in it with curiosity. Trust me it will be best for you than any other fields.

In my suggestion, go with your interest. And, in current scenario CS and IT fields are most demanding fields. You could go for CS or IT.

Hi,
Mechanical engineering at Thapar University is better than electrical. The placements, faculty are world-class. Infrastructure and labs are also well-equipped. So, go for mechanical at Thapar University.

It is very difficult to say which one is better. but if you want to go the public sector in the future than mechanical has more seats than electrical but there is also good competition for that. And mechanical branch has good placement in HBTI over electrical. So the decision is totally yours as it is all about interest.

In all the branches, the best branch is the chemical engineering. As, in this branch there is no need of going to the clients and demand for the fund. This is the only branch, where you only have to do research in the labs only.
