Courses in demand are electronics and communication, electrical and electronics, computer science and engineering, instrumentation and so on. Considering the trends is industrial growth the world over, electronics and computer science streams seem to have good prospects. One cannot certainly predict which stream will be better in future. The scope again depends on the qualities of the person who is entitled to compete in the job market.

Do not worry about the job now. Put in your best efforts and do well from now on and improve your performance. After completion, you can think of your job - technical or non-technical (like say HR jobs), based on your performance.
