Diploma students who aspire to complete their Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology can now opt to join the courses through direct second year engineering admission scheme offered by the Government. This is something which depends on your interest. If you are interested in more technical knowledge in your field, you can opt for M.Tech or MS. Otherwise, you can opt for MBA as well. To become an electronics engineer, your brother needs to have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th standard. During this time, he can also join a good engineering coaching institute for better preparation. After completing class 12th, your brother needs to appear for various entrance examinations. I would suggest him to appear for IIT JEE and AIEEE. These two entrance examinations provide admissions to IITs/ NITs and other government colleges, which are cost-effective.
