Hi in future there is very much scope of electronics as India making its steps in chip manufacturing industry but this is to be in future and presently core EC job is limited for core jobs you have to migrate to other country. Hence if you can rely on future that is4-5 year you can opt for it.

Hi Awej both are have scope but in my opinion go for computer as it is more prevalent in India and one can easily placed in a software company.

Yes Sujatha, LPU offers a part-time Ph.D. in ECE. Let me share details with you.
Eligibility: You should have a minimum of 55% marks in your master's degree in a relevant subject. After that, you have to qualify for the LPUNEST exam if you have not qualified for a national level test such as GATE, UGC NET, CSIR, GPAT, etc. The entrance will have 70% weightage in selection. After that, you have to appear for an interview and qualify for the same and have 30% weightage for the final selection.
You may avail of scholarships also on the basis of LPUNEST or National Level Test.
