All the streams are equally good and you can get a good salary based on the organisation you are joining. If you want to go to the IT industry, ECE is the option among these, for research biotech is the best option in the current scenario. Chemical will open options in PSUs apart from the private sector.

It is indeed great to hear from you that you are interested in doing Bachelor of commerce graduation through distance mode of education and not Bachelor of engineering. It is very nice to have such clear-cut aim in life. For admission to any graduation course minimum qualification is invariably class 12th pass. Apparently, you have done your Diploma after class 10th and not class 12th. So, you will not have class 12th pass certificate with you. But, do not worry. These days almost all the states in India have declared Diploma as equivalent to 12th. You just need to approach the Polytechnic from where you have done your Diploma and seek

You have to appear for JEE /CET exam, and also HSC exam.
There is 50% importance to each exam score.
If your total percentile is above 90% then there are chances of you getting in COEP.
If you belong to any reservations then you will definitely get in COEP and Instrumentation.

Hello Ajith, Once you get admission in lateral mode directly into second year of engineering of 4 years degree course, the syllabus, classes everything is same. In fact you join the students in second year who have already finished their first year in the college in the same course. Hence syllabus is exactly same as that for normal B.Tech.
