See, in India, as of now, the increasing scope is of electronics only as there are very less manufacturing plants in India and only some companies are coming to India that will hire mechanical engineers, but in the electronics field, this is totally opposite and more and more companies are setting up there manufacturing plants in India.

See from the jobs point of view, the best is EEE instead of ECE as there are quality placements in the ECE but in EEE there are quantity placements but this also depends on the college.

In electrical and electronics engineering, you will study about the electricity generation and the equipments used in that like motors, wires, generators, etc., but in the electronics and communication engineering you will study about the manufacturing of the electronics products that is used for the communication like telephones, optical fibers, mobiles and many other things.

See, in electrical engineering, you will study about the wiring and wire harnessing only but in the electrical and electronic engineering, you will also about the electronics products manufacturing and also other things the EEE is more advanced than EE.
