However, both are top colleges of Bangalore, but MS Ramaiah is a bit more ahead in terms of placement.

As per thier website, Himalayan University is recognized by the UGC - University Grants Commission under Section - 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956 and hence empowered to impart higher education at all different levels of Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate. Himalayan University is included in the list of approved universities in India listed by UGC Approved Universities. Therefore, degrees awarded by University is valid for Government and Private sector jobs.

You have become an engineer in one of the best branches of engineering. You now have an option to obtain PG or MBA. Of course you can opt for job also. You can get job in many private or govt companies dealing in communication etc. You can even think of becoming an enterprenure. You can even appear for civil Services exam too.

EEE degree syllabus includes subjects of both electrical & electronics. However, market treats it as electrical engineering. ECE grads are taken as electronics engineers.

NIT-Rourkela is one of the top NITs. So every branch is well taught.
Electronics and instrumentation engineering and civil engineering, both have same opening and closing rank.
So, both are excellent.
