The syllabus for the first year differs from one university to another. Kindly check the website of the university for the same. Mostly, it covers the basics of what you have studied in 11th and 12th standard with a bit of advanced concepts.

Both are good but if you are interested in electronics, opt for electronics. Otherwise, M.Tech in IS is good too.

Master's degree in UK will cost you around 12 lakhs (tuition fees) and 10 lakhs (living expenses). For Australia, it will be 39 lakhs (tuition fees) and 12 lakhs (living expenses).

Techno India has good placements but they really take students in their main campus without any donation so you can look for better colleges like Adamas University or JIS University if you want to take admission in West Bengal.
