The main and important research areas of industrial electronics are electrical power machine designs, power conditioning and power semiconductor devices. Electronics will continue to make more and more automation possible in the future. But man will remain far superior to any electronic device in his ability to daydream as part of his thinking process, to concentrate at will on one odor among many, on one object in a panorama, or on one sound in a noisy room.

According to me, ECE branch is better than mechanical. With ECE, you can go for both private and government sectors
and there are also more chances of getting placement in ECE branch as compared to mechanical.

Once the course is over, a B.Sc. graduate can seek employment in various public and private sector. Some of the job designations which are ideal for a B.Sc. Chemistry graduate are Service engineer, Software analyst, senior sales manager, Electronics and Communication Consultant, etc. The initial salary in these positions in the government organizations varies from INR 10,000 to 32,000 per month and in the private sector the package after B.Sc. Electronics varies from INR 3,50,000 to 4,00,000 LPA.

Hello Amal,
Frankly speaking although, Medical Electronics (which is mainly related to designing of medical equipments) will see a growth in the coming years due to the growth in health care business and new technology inventions in the area but as of now the career scope is decent and not very booming. As this is quite a new field in India, there are not many colleges offering this course. However, few of which you can check are: Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, MS Ramaiah University.
After attaining a degree you would be able to find a job with Hospitals & various medical equipment manufacturers or after gaining some experience
