It is very nice to hear from you that in spite of having done your M.Sc in applied electronics with very good marks you still want to do B.Tech but from correspondence course. Here let me give you a word of caution. Few months back, the Supreme Court of India has cancelled all the degrees awarded to many students who had obtained them via correspondence course. Recently, UGC has once again issued the circular stating that no professional courses including engineering can be done via correspondence. I am attaching a link which stated this. The minimum eligibility criterion for Diploma in education D.Ed courses has been reset to the higher secondary certificate (HSC). The government had recently announced that the eligibility criteria will be changed from HSC to graduation. However, for this year, the old criteria will be applied. Yes, you can definitely go for UGC NET exam after completing your M.Tech in electronics and for this, you can apply in the month of September for the exam to be held in the month of December.
