Embedded system is a computer system with a dedicated function within a larger mechanical or electrical system, often with real-time computing constraints and Very-large-scale integration (VLSI) is the process of creating an integrated circuit by combining thousands of transistors into a single chip. Generally, embedded systems and VLSI are available as post graduate courses such as M.Tech only. ME / M.Tech is a two year course. Eligibility:

Candidates who seek admission for the course are required to meet the following eligibility criteria which are as follows:
Graduation (BE/B.Tech) in a relevant discipline, with a minimum aggregate score of 55% (50% for SC/ST candidates), completed from a recognized university.
Work experience of a minimum of 1 year, as most institutes prefer candidates with professional experience.
Students in the final year of graduation results impending are also welcome to apply for the course, however, admission to such students is made provisionally.

You need to be a graduate in engineering or equivalent (E.g. BE/ B.Tech/ 4 year B.Sc engineering/ AMIE/ DoEACC B Level, etc.) in IT, computer science, electronics, telecommunications, electrical, instrumentation or related areas.

Hi Sudarshan the criteria for scholarship for VLSI and Embedded is that you will need to take the Sandeepani Online Test (OLT) based on your performance in the OLT you can obtain scholarship from 10% to 25%.
