Other than JEE Mains and Advanced, there are many entrance exams which are conducted. Some of them are:
1. LPU-NEST
2-KIITEEE
3-UPSEE
4-SRMJEE
5-WBJEE
6-VITEEE
7-BITSAT
8Entrance Exam for Galgotias University.
9-COMEDK (You can get very good colleges through this, they are mainly in Bangalore).
10-KCET
11-MH-CET.

You need to be very clear about all the concepts of Physics and Mathematics. There's no escape for those subjects as far as engineering is concerned. If you are thinking about chemical engineering, petrochemical engineering, etc. Then you have to dedicate yourself towards Chemistry also. If you do it now it'll not trouble you during the engineering course. Do not panic, just be focused and dedicated. Good luck.

Unlike NEET exam for entry to medical colleges, engineering students have to appear for many different entrance exams. Primarily, you need to appear for the entrance exam that your state demands for admission to engineering colleges then you need to appear for JEE Mains for getting admission into NIT is for CFTI's then you can also appear for entrance exams conducted by different Deemed to be universities having engineering colleges or private unaided colleges which also conduct their own exam. I am afraid there is no going away from it, so you need to decide what you want where you want to get admission and then according

1. After Diploma, you can apply through counseling, which will be conducted at Alagappa Chettiyar University, Karaikudi. Counseling call depends on your Diploma final year percentage. If you received a call for the first day counseling or topped with a rank of at least below 10, you're almost have a chance to get a seat at PSG Tech. Your final year percentage should be more than 96 if you're a general category applicant. For BC/MBC it should be more than 94%. For SCA/SC/ST more than 92 is enough.
