Electronics and communication (ECE) is more software oriented while EEE is a core subject dealing with machines. ECE has more job scope in private sector while EEE has more scope in government sector. So, to put it simply, if you are interested in coding, the ECE is better for you. You must give it a deep though yourself for making a decision. Every field has ample number of jobs and opportunities for making a successful career out of it!

Both the courses are equally good and have good job opportunities. Both are core branches of engineering. Lots of opportunities being created in this sector. Both of these have a great scope, provided you have interest, aptitude, frame of mind, temperament, passion, personality traits that align with your aspirations in any of these. You must give it a deep though yourself for making a decision. Every field has ample number of jobs and opportunities for making a successful career out of it!

You can opt for various Bachelor of Design courses conducted by IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati and IIT Hyderabad through Undergraduate common entrance exam for design (UCEED). Bachelor of Science (Research) from IISc Bangalore through JEE Advanced. And can also be eligible for National Defense Academy (NDA) exam for Air Force and Naval wings. If interested in Management course than integrated MBA course of IIM Indore is another option through IPMAT or change your stream to arts courses.

Hi in future there is very much scope of electronics as India making its steps in chip manufacturing industry but this is to be in future and presently core EC job is limited for core jobs you have to migrate to other country. Hence if you can rely on future that is4-5 year you can opt for it.
