Engineer scope

Electronics and communication (ECE) is more software oriented while EEE is a core subject dealing with machines. ECE has more job scope in private sector while EEE has more scope in government sector. So, to put it simply, if you are interested in coding, the ECE is better for you. You must give it a deep though yourself for making a decision. Every field has ample number of jobs and opportunities for making a successful career out of it!
The professionals from both of these fields are in great demand provided they have required skill Sets exposure and hands on experience in form of internships and projects. Second point : You must pursue your choice of course only in top universities like IITs, NITs, VIT, PEC, Thapar and LPU etc. This will help you kickstart your career with a good platform as they will ensure your initial placement.

Both the courses are equally good and have good job opportunities. Both are core branches of engineering. Lots of opportunities being created in this sector. Both of these have a great scope, provided you have interest, aptitude, frame of mind, temperament, passion, personality traits that align with your aspirations in any of these. The highest package offered was 31LPA by Code Nation. Aerospace engineering has the worst placement records. Only 5-10 people have got placements from college and more than 5 were placed in IT jobs. The highest package offered maybe of 7 lacs as far as I know. Not more than 20 percent got internships from the college last year.

The students with the guidance of the department and University are very active in the field of automobile research and activities. A student has an Automobile club under Society of Automobiles India, Under which the teams have participated in various competitions by making their vehicle in Supra SAE (Student Formula CAR), Baja SAE India, BAJA SAE USA, Efficycle (LPU Hosted the SAE Efficycle event in Oct-2015. Organized International Go-Kart Championship which is a student-initiated automotive event the first international event of its kind receiving participation from all over ASIA. The Mechanical Department has highly experienced and qualified staff pursuing their research in thrust areas such as CAD/CAM, Mechanical design, Thermal engineering, Fluid dynamics, Manufacturing Engineering, Tool design, and Flexible Manufacturing Systems/Automation. The department has to its credit more than 48 research publications in International, National Journals including prestigious ASME Transactions, International Conference and National Conference.
