Hi,  Deciding on a second partial drop is a personal choice and depends on your confidence in significantly improving your performance this time. Scoring 93% in your first drop year shows that you've worked hard, but NIT admissions depend heavily on your JEE Main score and rank.  If you believe you can enhance your preparation, identify weak areas, and improve your score, taking another attempt might be worth it. However, consider the additional pressure and time investment a second drop entails. It's also essential to have a clear strategy for preparation this time—whether it's refining your concepts, solving mock tests, o

A strong CAT percentile, paired with good communication skills and clarity about your career goals, can help you stand

Hi,    Your academic profile is quite strong, and being a general engineer female with EWS category can work in your favor when applying to IIMs. Scoring 98+ percentile in CAT would significantly boost your chances of getting calls from top IIMs, especially because many of them consider diversity, category, and gender as important factors during the selection process.  While your 12th-grade score is slightly lower compared to other components of your profile, the overall balance of high scores in 10th, B.Tech, and a strong CAT percentile can compensate for this. Some IIMs weigh CAT scores more heavily, while others have
