Petroleum engineering is a branch of engineering that deals with the study of techniques and methods to extract petroleum and natural gas. It involves study of extraction, purification, manufacture and utilization of oil, gas, and liquefiable hydrocarbons.
Career prospects are quite attractive in petroleum sector as petroleum companies have great influence and offer attractive salaries to employees.
